About Construction Management

Scope of Construction Management Services

  • Execute the Project Management Plan.
  • Manage Field Observation personnel and establish and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Lead interdepartmental team to address OSHA and safety violations by the Contractor.
  • Coordinate development of oversight procedures and train staff to ensure and maintain high-quality consistent products for clients.
  • Ensure the Contractor meets environmental, electrical, structural, and mechanical specifications.
  • Oversee the performance of the general contractor, site manager, and other members of the construction team.
  • Conduct monthly production and operations contractor meetings, which facilitate stronger communication and the ability to resolve critical issues.
  • Manage and represent the project to Owners and Board of Directors.

About Field Observation and Documentation

PSI is built on 30 plus years of experience providing site and project observation services for the Harris and surrounding county projects including development, municipal, roadway and all things related to civil infrastructure.

Scope of Field Observation and Documentation Services

  • Conduct Constructability Reviews of plans by verifying field conditions ahead of proposed work.
  • Observe the daily activities of the Contractorโ€™s work for conformance with the drawings and specifications.
  • Keep accurate daily construction reports including a work diary, photos, and videos.
  • Observe and verify quantities for progress payments to the Contractor.
  • Organize and prioritize time to ensure that critical items of work are observed.
  • Anticipate and recognize conditions that may impact the Contractorโ€™s production.
  • Attend meetings as requested pertaining to construction development issues.
  • Coordinate with Construction Managers, Operations Personnel, and Contractors on construction issues, tasks, and reporting.
  • Use collaborative project software to help organize and maintain project files.
  • Use E-Inspect Pro, PSIโ€™s invaluable daily reporting tool, allowing our clients access to their project daily reports and photos, in addition to lab test reports.
  • Assign each client a unique user ID and password to allow for the protection and security of their information and access to client reports whenever needed.
  • Provide aerial drone photography and video to better enhance our services to our clients.
  • Maintain constant communication with clients on all aspects of the project.
